Spay/Neuter Assistance Program
S.N.A.P. is a valuable resource for residents of Pratt County who might need help getting their dog or cat spayed/neutered. This program was started and is solely ran by generous donations from many of our local community members. We depend on our community to help us keep this program available to those who need it. If you would like to make a donation to our Spay/Neuter Assistance Program you can do so in a few different ways:
*Send a check in the mail with "snap" in the memo area to

*You can drop your donation off in person.
*If you want to stay anonymous, you can stop by Fusion Bank 906 E. 1st St, Pratt KS and ask them to place your donation into Pratt Area Humane Society "Snap" account.
S.N.A.P is a separate account from our daily operating account and at this time we can not use credit card, venmo or pay pal for Snap donations.

Spay/Neuter Assistance Program
This program is available to residents of Pratt County who meet the income guideline set by Federal low income statistics. This program is limited to Pratt County Only.

Pratt Co residents who wish to participate in this program will need to bring proof of income for all working individuals in the household and proof of residency. Examples: Mail with your address/name, recent paystub, social security benefits paperwork, photo i.d., income tax paperwork. If you qualify there will be a co-pay dependent of the type of animal and gender of the animal. This co-pay is due when the voucher is issued. You will then call one of the vets listed on the voucher to set up an appointment. The veterinarians listed requires a rabies vaccine to be current or given at the time of surgery. We also offer a discounted price of $15 for a rabies vaccine that can be added to the spay or neuter.
CO-PAY IS CHECK OR CASH ONLY. NO CREDIT CARDS. Co-pays are listed below:
Dog Spay-$70.00
Dog Neuter-$55.00
Cat Spay-$50.00
Cat Neuter-$40.00
Rabies Vaccine-$15.00
The veterinary clinic will keep your voucher and return it to PAHS with an invoice. PAHS will apply your co-pay and pay the remaining amount of the invoice.

You may apply for a snap voucher anytime during normal business hours. Mon,Tues, Wed and Friday 10:30-12:30 & 2:30-5:30.
