CHARLEY
Charley is the sweetest dog you will meet! She can be very timid at times but she just needs time to warm up to new friends. This sweet pup wouldn't hurt a fly. She is 2 years old and an American Bulldog mixed with Boxer. Charley loves belly rubs, is potty trained, and listens very well. Schedule a time to come and meet her today!
CURTIS
Meet Curtis! This handsome 1-year-old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix is 45lbs of energy, brains, and potential! Curtis is a working dog through and through, he's happiest when he has a job to do and room to run! He's incredibly smart and eager to please, but he needs someone with time, patience, and consistency to help channel that energy into something productive. Curtis would thrive on a farm or ranch, especially with someone who has an interest in working dogs! He's not meant to be a couch potato - he's built for purpose and adventure. With the right person, Curtis will be an incredible partner and loyal companion.
DELILAH
Hey there, Delilah! This sweet girl is about 1 and a half years old. She has a little bit of anxiety when she's in her kennel with all the other dogs barking but once she's outside she's as sweet as can be! Delilah walks very well on a leash and loves to play fetch (and is very gentle about it). Delilah is quite treat motivated and eager to learn, so she should be an easy student for further training.
HUNTER
Introducing Hunter! This sweet boy loves attention. He just came here about a month ago. When he first came in he had a very bad ear injury but he is now healed and is thriving. Hunter is around 1 year and 7 months old. He is an American Bulldog mixed with Mastiff. He is really good at listening, knows how to sit, and is potty trained. Hunter is neutered, microchipped, and fully vetted.
JERI
On March 27th 2025 the Rush County Sheriff’s Office said 54 animals were rescued from “poor living conditions” during an investigation into a report of a stolen firearm.

This is Jeri. She is one of those 54 animals rescued. She came to us in early May. Despite her living conditions prior to coming to us, she is a sweet, lovable, friendly, albeit shy adult dog. She does well with other dogs after a slow introduction. We do not know the extent of how she was cared for before we got her, but we can see in her eyes that she holds no grudges towards people. She just wants to be loved and get attention from any human she sees. She has been fully vetted meaning she is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested-Negative and is on the appropriate flea/tick/heartworm prevention. She is a 2-3yr old pittie mix. She has had a couple of accidents in her kennel, but that is to be expected considering her circumstances before she came to us. Her adoption fee is $150.00 and that helps us cover the cost of all the medical procedures she had done in order to find a loving home of her own and get a 2nd chance at a wonderful life. LILY
Meet Lily! This sweet girl is on the smaller side and a mixed breed. She is around 1 year old and was found as a stray. Lily is very sweet and loves her people! She can be a little anxious at first, but once she's comfortable she will stay right next to you! Lily doesn't seem to mind other dogs and is still coming out of her shell. Lily is ready to find her forever family. Call us and schedule a time to meet her!
MECHA
Mecha is the sweetest girl, after running loose for over a year, she now prefers the inside life. Now when she goes outside, she does her business and comes right back in! Mecha is around 3 years old and maybe an Australian Shepherd mix! She does have a high prey drive after living on her own so she will need a slow introduction to other pets. She would make the perfect farm dog too! She is very smart and savvy!
PAM
Pam is a sweet 3 year old retriever mix. She came to us with a skin condition which was diagnosed as flea allergy dermatitis but it is clearing up beautifully and she shouldn't have any lasting impacts! Pam loves people and has excellent recall. She doesn't seem to mind other dogs either! Pam is ready to find her forever home, is it yours?
SUMMER
Summer came in as a puppy along with her 5 siblings from a hoarding situation in Stafford. She needs help with potty training and will need to feed separately until she is settled into her home properly. She does get snappy with food around other shelter dogs. Currently she thinks she is a lap dog and will hop into your lap when you sit down. She loves fetch and tennis balls. She is a hard chewer so hard toys are best. She really likes chasing bugs outside but has really good recall. Summer is really food and treat motivated and understands sit and wait. She also doesn't mind getting dressed up in costumes.
