Meet our cats and kittens.

Playful, Friendly and Cuddly

We always seem to have some of the friendliest cats. We think it's because we are able to let them play in the colony rooms together and not spend so much time in cages. We are also sure that all the toys and treats our community sends to our cats helps keep them happy and entertained.

Cat Adoption Process.

If one of our cats catches your eye you can call us at 620-672-6777 to set up a time to meet.

The adoption fee for cats is $80.00.

This fee covers:

Spay or Neuter

Microchip

Vaccines

Fiv/Felv testing

and parasite control.

Applications can be filled out online or picked up in person at the shelter.

Aurora

*1year old Spayed Female

*Fully vetted and FIV/Felv negative

*Gets along with other cats but is scared of dogs.

*Timid and Shy. Once she gets to know you and feels more relaxed she will sit in your lap and enjoy all the attention you will give her.

Aurora just appeared out of the blue one day outside of PAHS. She was hungry and scared but didn't trust us enough to let us touch her. Even after about a week of feeding her she still didn't trust us. We set a live trap and within about an hour we caught her. We let her decompress for a few days in a quiet room and we eventually gained her trust and she let us pet her. The rest is history. She really is a sweet girl that likes other cats and also likes the humans she knows. If you would like to meet Aurora give us a call and we will set it up.

Beauty

*5 year old spayed female

*Fully vetted and Fiv/Felv negative

*Likes other cats in small numbers. 1-2 other cats are fine, more than that and she gets stressed.

Beauty and her house mate Teensie came to us under circumstances that no one can control. Her owner passed away and family members weren't able to take in 2 cats. Beauty is outgoing and affectionate. She is a petite girl with a big purr. If you have room in your home for a sweet cat that likes to take naps and eat treats come out and meet her.

Teensie

* 2 year old spayed female.

*Fully vetted and Fiv/Felv negative

*Tolerant of other cats but we haven't seen her bond to any cats except Beauty.

Teensie and Beauty came in together after their own passed away. They don't have to be adopted together, but they know and love each other and it would be awesome if they could go together. Teensie is very sweet and affectionate and loves attention. She is a cuddler and would love to hang out with her humans on the couch watching the latest binge-worthy show. Mango

Mango is still with us and has become a fixture in our lobby. He is a wonderful, spicy, independent and full of personality cat. He is curious about EVERYTHING and sometimes gets too nosey for his own good. He loves being around people and kids. He does do well with other cats and dogs once he gets to know them.

We have become enamored with his inquisitive nature and how he just does what he wants. We think he lives by the motto "Better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission"

If you are interested in meeting/adopting Mango, please fill out our online adoption form and we will set up a time for you to meet him. Of course, we have to make sure his calender is free.

*Fully vetted

*Long hair that will require constant brushing. He does allow brushing.

Raven

Raven is ready to find his forever home. He will be fully vetted in the upcoming week and is ready to find a family to love him forever.

* 12 weeks old

* Neutered, fiv/felv negative, microchipped and vaccinated.

*Adoption fee is $80.00

Raven is very lovable and outgoing. He loves attention and his purr never stops.

His coat is a beautiful Smoke coloring and he looks to be a medium/long haired kitty. He uses his litterbox and likes other cats and dogs when he gets to know them. If you are interested in adopting Raven, please fill out an adoption application and we will call to set up a meet and greet.

CINDER

*1 year old spayed female.

* Fully vetted and Fiv/Felv negative.

Cinder came to us back in January after she was found in an apartment. The tenant had been evicted and left cinder behind. She was very thin and had some skin issues that needed to be cleared up. We have been taking very good care of her and now this GORGEOUS girl is ready to find a forever home. She has beautiful and uncommon "smoke" coloring. She looks black but if you rub her fur the opposite direction it is a grey-almost white color. Those big yellow eyes are mesmerizing! Her personality matches her outer looks as well. She loves attention and loves to be petted and brushed. She isn't a huge fan of other cats, but she doesn't try to attack them either. We feel that if she had time, she would warm up to other cats in a household. She had a rash/wound on her neck that had to be treated and that is why her neck looks white/grey. The hair was shaved in order for the wound to heal quickly and with less problems. When it grows in it will be black like the rest of her coat.

Elvis

Elvis has been with us for a while. He is 1 year old now and is ready to find a home that will love him and care for him for the rest of his life. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV.

Elvis had surgery to remove his eye when he was around 5 months old due to an ulcer that wouldn't heal. We think he got scratched by some outside bushes and the scratch later turned into an ulcer. Once he had that source of pain removed, he was a brand new kitty. Playful, affectionate and always looking for attention.

Elvis would be considered a medical case and would need to be an inside cat or be able to go in a catio if allowed outside. He does seem to have some coordination issues with his back legs but testing and radiographs all came back normal. It seems to just be an abnormality that doesn't hinder him. He runs and plays and climbs perfectly fine.

Gabi

Gabi has been with us for several months. She is one of the sweetest, laid back cats we have. She loves to be the center of attention and will take all the pets, brushing and love you can give her. She is tolerant of other cats but really prefers to be the main focus of the family.

Gabi came to us as a stray. She was picked up from Caseys convenience store. She must have been eating well because she is a very voluptuous lady. We aren't sure of her back story but she did have a tipped ear and was already spayed. That could mean she was part of a TNR program that trapped her, spayed her and then released her. We have no way of knowing for sure what happened to her in the past but her present and future will be full of comfort and love.

We guess Gabi to be around 3 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and fiv/felv negative.

The Quintuplets

These kittens came in with their mom, Kiwi, back in April. We put their birth date as 4-4-26. That makes these adorable babies 7 weeks old as of today. 5/29/26. They will be ready for adoption in just a few weeks. They all look so similar that we had to put colored collars on them to be able to tell them apart. There are 3 males and 2 females. They are all fat and sassy and playful. They are healthy kittens. They still need to be vetted before they can be adopted but if you are in the market for a playful, beautiful kitten in the next month or so, keep this group in mind. We haven't named them.
