Jeri

On  March 27th 2025 the Rush County Sheriff’s Office said 54 animals were rescued from “poor living conditions” during an investigation into a report of a stolen firearm.

This is Jeri.  She is one of those 54 animals rescued.  She came to us in early May.  Despite her living conditions prior to coming to us, she is a sweet, lovable, friendly, albeit shy adult dog.  She does well with other dogs after a slow introduction.  We do not know the extent of how she was cared for before we got her, but we can see in her eyes that she holds no grudges towards people.  She just wants to be loved and get attention from any human she sees.   She has been fully vetted meaning she is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested-Negative and is on the appropriate flea/tick/heartworm prevention. She is a 2-3yr old pittie mix.  She has had a couple of accidents in her kennel, but that is to be expected considering her circumstances before she came to us.  Her adoption fee is $150.00 and that helps us cover the cost of all the medical procedures she had done in order to find a loving home of her own and get a 2nd chance at a wonderful life.  If you would like to meet Jeri, please give us a call or send us a message to set up a time to visit her.
